GOOD FOR THE WORLD exists as a way to connect people that care about the biggest issues in the world today, with the charity organisations that are working to fix these problems. Each quarter, one of you in our community wins the opportunity to make a donation to their charity of choice. Our first winner was Cynthia from South Australia.
Bush Heritage wins first charity donation
Cynthia was the first person to win a $1000 donation for her charity of choice. Cynthia chose to give her $1000 donation to BUSH HERITAGE because she wants to protect Australia’s threatened species – plants and animals – for future generations. Cynthia’s wish for the world was:
"There are so many people in need but few ways to help. A wish granted is a way to help.”

The impact our ‘Good for the World’ community makes
Bush Heritage are committed to working with Aboriginal people to buy and manage land to protect nature forever. The organisation is on a mission to work side-by-side with Traditional Owners to protect threatened species on their land and with the help of people like Cynthia they have protected 11.3 million hectares of Australian landscape - you can read here about how they select the land Bush Heritage protects.
Bush Heritage were super grateful to find out that Cynthia had decided to gift them her $1000 donation prize. They said:
“We are happy to receive the prize and it will help greatly to support the unique native species and stunning landscapes of Australia now and into the future as well as help prevent our plants and animals from extinction.”
